Traditional Fun Relay Team Event

The ever-popular Beardie Fun Relay will be held once again in 2025. It will be held on Monday, November 3. This fun relay has been a tradition at the BCCA Specialty for 25 years! The relay will begin after the conclusion of the official trial.

Teams of 3 will compete for bragging rights as the 2025 BAD Relay Champions. All dogs must be at least 15 months old and actively training for agility, or have competed in agility, to participate. Please don’t enter an untrained dog, thinking it will be fun — it can actually be dangerous for an untrained dog to run. Scores will be Time Plus Faults, with the only fault being an Off Course.

Get your teams of 3 ready! Don’t have a team? We’ll be happy to help you find one, if needed. Dogs may only register for one team, and each team must have 3 dogs with 3 different handlers.

Glory Run

Do you have a retired agility Beardie? Think about entering your dog in the Glory Run (no entry fee). The retired dogs will run the relay first, and will go one at a time. Be sure to add RETIRED BEARDIE to the entry form. Retired dogs may run the relay as part of a team, but then will not be eligible for the Glory Run.

There will be a separate registration form available for the relay and Glory Run by September 1.

Agility Lunches

Agility lunches need to be pre-ordered on the Master Registration form.

Options (both Monday and Tuesday):

  • Hamburger including chips, premium brownie and a beverage
  • Chicken Sandwich including chips, premium brownie and a beverage
  • Veggie Burger including chips, premium brownie and a beverage

BAD Dinner

The BAD Dinner will follow the Fun Relay on Monday, November 3.
