Start your day at La Hacienda, where breakfast is served daily. The bed and breakfast package is available by calling the hotel. This rate discounts breakfast, but only if you plan to eat everyday. Otherwise you can drop in any morning. La Hacienda is near the main lobby and guest rooms with indoor and patio seating.
Grove House, formerly Knickers (you may still see some signage or maps with the old name), is classic grill room food. Club sandwiches, burgers, salads, shrimp cocktail, etc. Grove House is in the clubhouse near the conformation ring and grooming. Upscale sports bar atmosphere with multiple TVs and beautiful views of the golf course. Service until 7pm.
La Margarita is currently what I would call “casual finer dining.” Anything from grouper tacos to filet mignon. It’s in the main complex near the guest rooms. However, it’s currently closed for remodeling and updating. It will be open by the time we get there and I’m not sure what the changes will be. Conquistador cocktail lounge and patio service attached. Normally open for lunch and dinner.
The hotel is famous for its Saturday night prime rib and crab leg feast, and Sunday brunch. Check those out if you will be in town over the weekend.
Remember, we are offering lunch on Wednesday to help keep the day moving smoothly. It might be difficult to get in and out of the restaurants on site during our lunch break. Thursday is the Charitable Trust “handheld” brunch (late morning between puppy and Veteran sweeps.
