Meals & Menus

When you start to fill out the Master Registration Form, you’ll want to know what’s being served at the different social events. This should help you when it’s time to make your meal choices.

Herding Lunches — Friday & Saturday, 10/31-11/1

Lunch will be served both days by the Yum Yum Kitchen, a food truck famous in Florida horse country for its delicious housemade food. Prices include tax and tip.

Sandwich Choices (both days):

  • BBQ Pork — warm toasted hoagie, sizzling pulled pork, with smokey BBQ sauce and crispy cilantro slaw. $16
  • Cheese Steak Sub — fresh 8″ toasted hoagie, sauteed ribeye steak, grilled onions, hint of jalapeno, melted Swiss cheese, Cedar Key Garlic Herb Sauce. $17
  • The Tree Hugger — Vegetarian hoagie with grilled mushrooms, onions, jalapenos, fresh sliced beefsteak tomatoes, melted Swiss cheese, and signature crispy cilantro slaw. $16
  • Blackened Salmon BLT — Fresh salmon, blackened and served with crispy romaine, beefsteak tomatoes, hint of red onion, crispy bacon, Cedar Key Garlic Herb Sauce in a warm hoagie roll. $20
  • Single Cheeseburger — fresh grilled Angus burger with special seasoning, beefsteak tomato, red onion, romaine lettuce, American cheese, mustard, mayo, ketchup & pickles. $11

Drovers’ Dinner — Friday, 10/31

The Drovers’ Dinner will take place at a real Old Florida-style restaurant called. Stumpknockers. It’s a pretty spot too, right on the Withalacoochee River. Obedience Lunch — Sunday, 11/2

Deli-style lunch served between Obedience and Rally trials. Homemade chicken and tuna salad, fresh rolls, pasta salad, fresh fruit, housemade kettle chips, cookies, and iced tea/lemonade/water will be available between trials in the foyer outside the ballroom.

Agility Lunches — Monday & Tuesday, 11/3-4

Options (both Monday and Tuesday):

  • Hamburger including chips, premium brownie and a beverage
  • Chicken Sandwich including chips, premium brownie and a beverage
  • Veggie Burger including chips, premium brownie and a beverage

Price:

Monday: NO CHARGE, made possible by the proceeds from raffling Terry Johnson’s donated jewelry
Tuesday: $18

Charcuterie & Cocktails Welcome Party — Tuesday, 11/4

Charcuterie and no-host cash bar on the Patio del Sol, overlooking the pool at Mission Resort + Club. There is *no charge* for this event, but reservations are requiredGenerously sponsored by the Bearded Collie Club of Central Florida.

Lunch on the Terrace, Wednesday, 11/5

For your convenience and to keep a busy day moving, we are offering lunch near the ring on the Legends Terrace. Mission Resort + Club will offer salad and deli stations with vegetarian options, wraps and sandwiches, fresh fruit, cookies, and drinks. Tables will be available, or take your lunch back to your setup to get ready for afternoon judging. We suggest this option to avoid delays with regular table service in the hotel restaurants.

Sliders & Sides Social — Wednesday, 11/5

Casual buffet dinner on the patio includes a fun variety of sliders (ex. crab cake, fried green tomato, chicken, pulled pork) with housemade sauces and sides. Cash bar.

Ringside Brunch — Thursday, 11/6

On Thursday morning, between puppy and veteran sweeps, The Bearded Collie Charitable Trust will sponsor Mimosas & Brunch ringside. Fresh fruit, Mission Resort + Club house made danish and pastries, warm mini quiche, scrambled eggs and Black Forest applewood smoked bacon, coffee/tea and of course, fresh squeezed Florida orange juice will be served on Legends Clubhouse Terrace.

Enjoy brunch and mimosas while we learn about the Bearded Collie Club of America Charitable Trust’s latest support of health research. Sponsored by the Trust.

Cash Bar Cocktail Hour, Parades, Dinner, and Auctions — Thursday, 11/6, 5:30-9:00 PM

American Fall Flavors from the Mission Grille

Come casually and enjoy a beautiful Fall Florida evening with this indoor-outdoor event overlooking the lake and golf course. The rescue, therapy, and titleholder parades will be held during cocktails outdoors. “Elevated” cookout style dinner will include lots of delicious options and key lime pie for dessert (because it’s Florida, after all!). There will be a silent auction and a brief live auction, and we’ll celebrate some notable achievements.

Farewell Fiesta — Saturday, 11/8, TBA after judging concludes

After a week of events, fun, and friends, say farewell to the 2025 National and get a glimpse of the plans for 2026 in the Lone Star State.

Join us Saturday afternoon afternoon on the Plaza de las Palmas at Mission Resort + Club. Southwestern Ranch Fiesta Salad, Taco Bar, Rice & Beans, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages will be included on the menu and a cash bar available.
